Part of the proposal in the "Lido Beach Live Sessions" is to go over fundamental conversations in our life as human beings that walk this planet. One of those conversations is the necessity that we have of letting go of past energies and stand firm on our roots, when we do this we let new sources of energy come inside of our bodies and give us strength to confront any journey that is ahead of us.
Express That Soul
One of the principal mental problems in many people is the absence of soul expression, many fear to express themselves because when they close their eyes they start to see things that under the social rules that have been taught to us are not acceptable, but that's the actual path that we need to follow. Letting our soul go wherever it needs to understand what is going inside of us. That's what we wanted to represent in these songs, we took our shoes off, we hit the sand and energy came straight down. At that same time new energy came up on us from the ground, from the air that was covering us, the sound of the waves. We need to go to these natural spaces to get real energy inside of us. Today many people are surrounded by antennas, technology in general that doesn't let their true chemistry and electricity flow like it should.
TribalMixtura arrived in Florida, United States, where they made a close relationship with Kelly Atkins from Ecstatic Dance Sarasota. Thanks to her they were able to discover the magic of Lido Beach, with it's white quartz sand that always keeps fresh under the hot burning sun. It was in this beach where they got their equipment ready, took off their shoes and made the equilibrium process with nature. Nature itself guided them to interpret these two songs: "Express That Soul" and "Estalle Colorido". This act symbolizes letting go of the old and letting the new come in.
Expressing the soul is something of high importance, although sometimes it becomes difficult for people to manifest. In the interaction with Ecstatic Dance Sarasota, TribalMixtura was able to meet many people that through dance were able to express what they had inside. They saw tears, laughs and people that just went into deep sleep, and for this they wanted to create a soundtrack for them to externalize their pain and necessities.
In "Estalle Colorido"(Available on january 27, 2024), they make reference to the root chakra, its base, going from the feet to the pineal. Although they selected this specific place, the world is full of beautiful places that need to be visited to establish this type of connection. The purpose of these live sessions is promoting the contact with nature in the search for internal equilibrium.
Express That Soul
The second original single released by the latin American group, this time with the participation of the Guinean singer Lyricson, who blazes the track with his dancehall lyrics and merges perfectly with the dynamic proposal.
Green proposes al humanity to look for real food and less processed in their daily eating habits.
Musically, TribalMixtura has gone this time in the adventures of deep reggae sounds with some electro-latin elements. The lyrics are in English and praises the green color natural in plants and other fruits and vegetables in general.
Green is available in all digital platforms next to it’s dub version made by Somos Animales, Argentinian dub master friend of the group with whom they previously collaborated in the album “A Tribe Called Dub”.
